Today I’d like to send out a huge thanks to the owners of the NRV Suites and Extended Stay Motel in Dublin, Virginia, Dan and Trish Woodyard.
One of the most important things for a film crew to have is a place to rest. We work long hours, and it’s not glamorous work like you might expect. At the end of the day, you need a good place to go home to. The Woodyards provided that to us, and we are eternally grateful.
The motel is very nice, with large rooms that really helped comfortably accommodate our crew. Dan Woodyard was friendly and was one of the easiest business owners I had to deal with when it came to arranging the logistics of our stay. Especially considering that our needs kept changing (which is the nature of filmmaking). In the end, it was great to have a home base, and the location couldn’t have been better. We were close to stores to pick up last second items we needed, plenty of places for the crew to eat, and only a few miles down Route 11 from all of our locations.
So a huge thanks to Dan and Trish, and if you’re thinking about visiting Pulaski to see the Mariners play or take a ride down our famous New River Trail, this is a great place to stay. Look them up!
